In this case, you can use the SoundAbout app to overwrite the default headset setting. Just downloaded it. Immediately noticed that there is an echo about 0.5 sec after speaking no matter how many sec I set the delay for. It still plays it again at the properly delayed time, but it is a definite flaw. Otherwise seems to work fine.
Simple, but it has an adjustable slider that goes from a moment's delay to maybe 30 seconds, and that's pretty cool.
I still have problem with output delay 0 on my android device, the delay time is not like zero. But it works good on my iPhone, what is the different ?

After major surgery on my upper jaw my speech had become very hard to understand. This app allows me to hear myself exactly as others hear me and to judge objectively my voice quality. Using short delays before replay I can pick one by one the sounds of speech that are slurred, work on each in turn, repeating words and phrases as often as necessary to re-educate my oral muscles and reflexes to form sounds that are recognizable again. . . - After 2 days of training my speech quality has improved a lot, speech is still partly off but understandable. This is a huge emotional step for me as I was despairing of being able to achieve this before finding the speech trainer.
I have to speak with the public all day selling cars and I'm not the greatest speaker. Maybe a little nervous probably confident problem. I think people like me that's why they buy from me so they overlook my problem. I had this app for about a hour and it's helping clean up my vocabulary now that's fast. Hearing myself speak will help me become a PRO SALESMAN Fast. Thank you EchoHacks
The software is good. But as a stammer its better. However, it doesn't work with bluetooth ear-phone. I cant move always with wired earphone or talk to one with earphones on using the echo hacks, quite rude I guess. Pls fix this problem.
This app is amazing! I don't have to adjust my schedule to fit in hours to go see my language tutor for help on my pronunciation anymore. The app is easy to use and it is really convenient for me to practice on my own time wherever I go. I love it and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to speak and communicate better :)
This is amazing. If you are concerned about your foreign language accent, or are a singer wanting to improve your diction, get this app. You will be able to get immediate feedback of your pronunciation and hear what you really sound like. It is a real eye (ear) opener
